Welp.. here's an update for all of you..
After going a round with my parents. they decided to give me the grand it would take as a down payment to repair the vans transmission.
I went to a local FORD dealer yesterday just to see what was out there. got as far as test driving an 05 T&C not a bad van with 16k on it. hmm.. that also was the sticker price..
Thanks to Fire pup for suggesting me look up the bbv on my current van before I make any kind of decision ..Found out there my van was worth 3020 tops for the condition its currently in plus I still owe 6700 on the current loan:P
Not a good Idea at this time to trade.
As far as the rest of the balance owing on the repair Ive set up a payment plan with the shop. Actual price is yet to be determined.
now the vans in the shop til at least next Tues.and Ive got a free loaner to use in its place til the work is done:) |

Well what an afternoon its been here..
Things were going pretty much for the norm around here with work and all until I left the job and headed to the airport to pick up my neighbors from their holiday travels.
After being told via phone they had arrived back home here on time(130p) I quickly made haste to the airport after going home to change clothes.
only to find them not yet waiting for me at the pick up point.. so i began to cicle around area beacuse theres now stopping or waiting allowed. onthe way there my O/D off light began to flash. telling me something was wrong with the van.. I, being completely stupid ignored it figured it was just one of those idiot light going off for nothing.shows what I know:P
To make a long story short its going to need a major tranny repair:(

YAY! MFF is almost here!
After three looong yrs of missing out on the most fun Ill get this yr.
yours truly is making it back to MFF .. will be a time to get re aquianted with some of you and finally meet others muzzle to muzzle for the first time. |
